Space Day

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Alipurduar Junction celebrated Space Day with great enthusiasm. The event was aimed at inspiring students to explore the wonders of the universe and pursue careers in science and technology.

The event began with a colorful cultural program showcasing the achievements of Indian space scientists. Students performed skits, songs, and dances based on the theme of space exploration.

The principal of PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Alipurduar Junction, Shri Satish Chandra Jha, also addressed the students and emphasized the role of education in fostering scientific temper. He said, “Space exploration is a source of inspiration for all of us. It teaches us about the wonders of the universe and the importance of scientific inquiry. We must all work together to ensure that our students have access to quality education in science and technology.”

The event concluded with a planetarium show and a visit to the school’s science laboratory.
